I got hooked on the exquisite detail that I could create on the Gelli plate, with leaves, weeds, and epiphytes rampant among our former Croton nursery. With a bit of practice, a very little bit of acrylic paint, and the right printmaking papers, I could print for hours. Some of these pieces just become interesting collage papers and some I mount on gallery-width birch panels. The monoprints below are all paper prints mounted on Birch panels. I have always loved Spanish Moss!
